Dr Smith and Dr Kearns are directors and Principle Ophthalmologists at our practice. Their expertise lies in cataract and refractive surgery. They have recently invested in exciting new technology for refractive surgery with the purchase of a Femtosecond Laser and new Excimer Laser.
In a current publication by the Independent Ophthalmic Network, Dr Smith said “Having considered all the options available in this developing technology we feel we have purchased the very best available.”
Dr Paula Berdoukas, Associate Ophthalmologist specialises also in cataract and refractive surgery. She consults at our Kingsford and Double Bay rooms each week.
We would also like to make you aware of our Glaucoma service which is provided by Dr Anne Lee. Dr Lee is available for general consultations but has a subspecialty in glaucoma management. She consults with us on alternate Tuesdays.
Macular Degeneration is a condition which can cause central vision loss with age. Dr Kearns and Dr Berdoukas treat wet macular degeneration with Lucentis Injections in the comfort of our Day Surgery.
